About Design Daily

Design Daily is the online persona of Sydney based design journalist and stylist, David Harrison. He has been contributing to Australian interiors magazines since 1999 and has work published in numerous Australian interiors magazines including Belle, Vogue Living, Real Living, Inside Out and Design Quarterly.

His first solo book project, A Century of Colour in Design, will be released in October 2020 by Thames & Hudson Australia. Charting 100 years of the influence of colour in designed objects the book explores the stories behind 250 furniture, lighting, rugs, fabrics and accessories. With 8 profiles on leading designers who have repeatedly championed the role of colour in their work, the book establishes an interesting lens through which to view design as it developed in the 20th and early 21st century.
