Shot for Belle magazine, the house is a conversion of a small late 19th century timber clad workers cottage. The new section of the building also uses timber cladding but of a vertical type encasing a radical shape that maximised the building’s size while minimising overshadowing of neighbouring properties.
Camperdown Apartment by Alex VanderFroëchk of Studio Ventana shot for Habitus April issue 2016. The apartment in Sydney’s inner west was a total conversion of what had previously been used as a University of Sydney science laboratory. It was built by Telgrit with all internal cabinetry by master joiner Gary Galego and custom metalwork by Broens Engineering.

A large two storey house on the borders of Paddington and Woollahra. In Sydney’s eastern suburbs, the house has been lovingly revamped by owner and interior designer Deborah Thompson.
The home of two busy doctors and their three daughters, the interior shows their passion for contemporary art. The building was originally a frilly version of a Californian bungalow but was reworked by Sydney architects, Collins Turner, into a suitably minimalist art gallery-style space.
